Mr. Revere and I by Robert Lawson was first published in 1953. It is an account of Paul Revere's ride written by his horse. It is written in first person.

This book is a book that his horse supposedly wrote. The horse was originally a loyalist and had a friend whom she thought was loyal... Ajax. But when she turns patriot she learns that Ajax is NOT a true friend at all. He doesn't like her anymore and calls her a traitor and a country bumpkin. But Sherrie is about to find a true friend- a friend that will stick by her side no matter what!
