Within The Palace Gates

Within the Palace Gates
by Anna P. Siviter

This book is a wonderful one! Nehemiah, the king's cup-bearer, was living a fine and rich life, when one day, a stranger came to Persia, bearing the name Hanani. Hanani was coming to Persia for his own reason, for his sadness was great, but Hanani didn't know that he would surprise Nehemiah in the process of trying to explain! Follow the two men, along with several other friends throughout their adventures; escaping close calls, traveling to foreign lands, and meeting plenty of new people. My favorite character in this book was Hanani, because all of his griefs were comforted in the end.

I loved this book because the language was beautiful! The way that the descriptions painted magnificent pictures in your mind, with each sentence proclaiming a statement. You should read this book because the plot is amazing and if you are anything like me, I know you'll enjoy it!
